What is Network Spinal?
Network Spinal is a chiropractic technique that is classified as “tonal.” There are many different modalities that fall under the umbrella of chiropractic care and a tonal approach is one that, rather than adjusting a specific vertebra, focuses on bringing the tone of the whole system into balance. This can be likened to tuning a guitar. If the strings are not at the right amount of tension, the music played will not be what is intended.
It is a gentle, hands-on approach that uses light touch at specific areas along the spine that help highlight areas of ease within the nervous system that then influence areas that are stuck in a pattern. When these areas open up, communication between brain and body is enhanced, promoting healing.
Network Spinal, originally called Network Chiropractic, and later Network Spinal Analysis, began its development in the 1980s by Dr. Donny Epstein. It was founded on the chiropractic principle that there is an organizing intelligence in all matter and in human beings this intelligence expresses via the nervous system.
Network Spinal is one of the most highly researched techniques in the field.
